The Robin Cottage - Stargazing!

The Robin cottage is set back from the road with 3 other cottages. Fully equipped with all the extras!

Our cottages are conveniently located in the populair north shore area. 20 min away from Charlottetown and Cavendish, and only 5 min away from Brackley Beach. Each tip of the island is easily reached within an 1.5 hours. This is the perfect place to gather your family for a get-a-way and to explore the island!

When you arrive at this 865 sf (2020) cottage you will see the largely build deck from 12 x 28. This to give you and your family plenty of space to play and relax. This cottage is tucked away behind trees so the cottage lot is private and therefor our most special. Please note that we do not allow pets.

When you enter the cottage around the side, it will bring you in the kitchen. The bathroom with combined shower and tub, washer and dryer will be directly at your right. Dertergent, essentials, towels and linen are provided! Please refer to the house manual for the full list after booking. The two bedrooms with queen bed will be on your right as well. The beds are rated by our guests as super comfy! I thought it was worth mentioning ;)

There is a pack n play and a high chair for our little guests.

A largely open living concept will be facing the deck. A warm living room with 42 inch smart-tv will keep you occupied in the evenings. There is free wifi to use and board games to play. The wifi can be slow pending weather and wifi users, oh the joys of having rural internet.

There is a smart TV with no cable access, but you may log-in to your netflix account if you like. Dependent on your cell phone you can also access the feature 'screen sharing'.

There is a heat pump in the cottage which can also be switched to airco. So the cottage will always be nice and cool. There is a spare heater in the bathroom. The bottom of the cottage is not insulated so don't forget to bring warm slippers.

Large patio doors will take you onto the deck with lounge set, dining set and a barbecue (propane included). There is a sun shade cover for shade. The large field in front of the cottage, away from the road and is safe for the kids to play. We have a play set with swings and slide to keep them occupied.

In the yard there is fire pit to make s'mores. Don't forget to stargaze!

Everything is accessible. Please be aware of guests that might stay at the Bluejay and hummingbird and give them their space as well.

We give our guests space. It is my goal to simplify airbnb as much as I can. You can expect a message when you book and all information you need or questions you may have are answered in the house manual. Entering of this cottage is by lockbox, the code can be found in the details in the last few days before your arrive and I will also be messaging all the details 48 prior your trip. We will always be available when needed and are only a few minutes away. You'll see us regular for cleaning the other cottages. Feel free to come say hi :)

The green gables shore area is a spectacular piece of Prince Edward Island’s acclaimed scenic landscape composed of red sandstone cliffs, white sand beaches and rolling farm fields. Some of the classic coastline has been protected in PEI National Park, which hugs the north shore in this area. Cavendish Grove is a lovely recent addition to the Park, featuring walking trails, picnic grounds and a stand of sugar maples.

Golfers have a hard decision to make since Green Gables Shore has more than 11 courses located just minutes apart. For family fun, spending time in Cavendish is a must-do. There are amusement parks, mini golf, water slides and restaurants that cater to all ages and tastes.

Just down the road, in North Rustico, adventure seekers can choose from kayaking, canoeing or deep-sea fishing. Give in to the lure of the sea and head out onto the ocean for a fresh perspective of the stunning coastline.

To awaken your spiritual side, be sure to take in The Indian River Festival Fine Music Series. It takes place at St. Mary’s Church, the largest wooden church on PEI, and its incredible acoustics make attending a concert here a truly heavenly experience.

Even if you have never heard of Anne of Green Gables™, this region can satisfy your wish for a variety-filled vacation itinerary that could include beach, golf, theatre, music, nature walks and sea kayaking–all within an easy 20 minutes of each other.

You will definitely need a car to get around on PEI.

This cottage is the 3rd and last one on the row. The cottage is shielded by trees and overgrowth. Therefor the cottage is more private than the others.

We prefer our un groomed overgrowth around the border because it is nature and we love wild flowers. Bees love them too. You can see this in the pictures.

Please mind your speed when you pass the other cottages. The septic bed is located in front of this cottage, so please don’t drive on the field in front of this cottage.

We do love pets, but we don’t welcome pets in this cottage.

In this cottage others can feel the vibration of your steps when you walk around. You will also be able to feel the vibration from the washer. This might be something to be mindful of.
